Your spouse can be an ideal business partner. To start, Identify the weaknesses and strengths that you are bringing into the business and use your strengths to decide on your roles. Agree on the roles as soon as the decision is made to get involved.
As a business partner:
1-Decide on what your financial investment will be
2-The amount of time you can give to the business.
These will help you determine what you will each contribute and how much of what.
For example, may be one of you can contribute money while the other can work harder in the business. You may also decide to share the workload and share the financial investment.
A good thing about having your spouse involved in your business is that you can give each other support and encouragement.
You can motivate each other when faced with disappointments. When you are tired or failed to meet deadlines you spouse can help you pick up the pieces.
